Kennedy Center – A five-minute walk from The River Inn.

The National Mall – Just a 20-minute walk from The River Inn.

National Gallery of Art – Open daily from 10am-5pm.

National Museum of African American History & Culture – Open daily, free timed-entry passes required.

National Portrait Gallery & Smithsonian American Art Museum – Open daily from 11:30 am – 7:00 pm.

Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum – Open daily from 10am-5:30pm, free timed entry tickets are required

Lincoln Memorial – Just a 20-minute walk from The River Inn.

World War II Memorial – Just a 25-minute walk from The River Inn.
