The River Inn hotel has been a fixture in the fashionable area of Foggy Bottom, Georgetown since 1956. We have been sharing things to do with our guests for over 60 years now. Fortunately it is an easy task because, overlooking the Potomac River, The River Inn is surrounded by Washington DC’s major landmarks and visitor attractions. It is also a short walk from the iconic shops and restaurants of Georgetown. What’s not to love? We are ideally situated for concerts at The Kennedy Centre and art, history and culture at the Smithsonian Museums, the National Museum of African American History & Culture, the National Mall, the White House and Lincoln Memorial.  If this seems a lot to take in, fear not. At the River Inn, you can retreat and take a break in a peaceful, beautifully equipped studio room or suite too.
